There are so many events to choose from that we thought it might be helpful to provide a quick event guide for what’s going on around town.

  • US Sand Sculpting Challenge and Dimensional Art Expositon: taking place on the B street pier, is one of the most unique events you will find anywhere in the world. Make sure to grab tickets and grab a bite to eat while you watch the World Master Sand Sculptors work. http://www.ussandsculpting.com/
  • Julian Grape Stomp Festa: Celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary this year, the Julian Grape Stomp Festa is perfect for adults and kids who don’t mind getting a little messy. Enjoy a glass of wine while you pulverize grapes in traditional fashion. Make sure not to miss the “Trash My Wedding Dress” event along with the “Lucy Look Alike” contest. Just make sure to bring a towel so you won’t have to pay our detail department a visit! http://visitjulian.com/to-see-do/special-events/grape-stomp/
  • The Litlte Italy San Diego Stickball Tournament has been a labor day institution since 1997. This year’s opening festivities will get started on Friday the 2nd at 98 Bottles in Little Italy. The teams are already locked in for the weekend but you can still enjoy some neighborhood flare and a relaxing day in the sun.
